Coach Auriemma and the University of Connecticut will be presented with the Championship Werner Ladder used to cut down the nets in April

Storrs, Connecticut (November 1, 2016) — In honor of their 2016 NCAA® Division I Women’s Basketball Championship, head coach Geno Auriemma and the University of Connecticut Division of Athletics will be presented with one of the Werner ladders used to cut down the nets in Indianapolis this past April. The presentation will take place during pregame ceremonies of the Huskies’ game versus Indiana University (Pennsylvania), at 7 p.m. ET Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, Connecticut.

Coach Auriemma will autograph a replica of the Championship ladder used to cut down the 2016 nets and it will be auctioned off at a UConn fundraising event. More details will be released at a later date.
